John Bayard Britton was a circuit riding abortionist who killed children all over Florida. He was at Aware Woman Center for Choice in Melbourne, Florida on May 27, 1983 when he killed the baby of Maureen Lynne Tyke. Maureen also died 4 days later from the botched abortion. Britton was in Pensacola, Florida on July 29, 1994 where he was tragically ambushed and murdered by Paul Hill. Paul Hill is now on Florida's death row awaiting execution for that crime.
