Patricia Windle is continuing to fight to force her former patient, Jane Roe II, to use her real name in court documents according to a FLORIDA TODAY article. Windle's attorney, Andrew Menyhart, is quoted in the article, "Permitting this woman (Jane Roe II) to proceed anonymously is permitting her to impugn and harm the reputation of private individuals, and to make allegations that may be unfounded and without merit . . ."

Apparently, Menyhart has not reviewed what Windle did in a previous lawsuit, Aware Woman v. Raney, using a different attorney. In this lawsuit, there were several plaintiffs besides Aware Woman and several defendants besides Raney. At least 3 of the plaintiffs used pseudonyms. One of those anonymous plaintiffs was a patient at Aware Woman who (like Jane Roe II) was also taken to the emergency room by ambulance from Aware Woman.

Apparently, Windle only objects to her patients using pseudonyms when they sue her. When she uses her patients to sue others, pseudonyms are okay.
