Originally from Barbados and trained in Canada, Sylvester Braithwaite sits on the board of The Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Hollywood, Florida.
Brathwaite is a proverbial wolf in sheep’s clothing. His website markets Woman and Teens Healthcare as a compassionate killing center. The death mill’s website is replete with bright faced, smiling teenagers surrounded by a field of flowers.
Braithwaite’s blog offers articles such as, Students need information about ‘Plan B’ and proclaims that their killing center “proudly” offers to murder your child in a “caring and comfortable atmosphere.”

Sylvester Braithwaite’s book, Teen Spirit: The Ultimate Family Manual is listed on Amazon.com under the teenage book subcategory: “Christianity – Christian Life – Family Relationships.”
The book’s ad-line is “A Spiritual Approach to Sexuality & Your Teen.” Braithwaite goes to great lengths to portray his child killing business as happy, family-oriented, spiritual and even “Christian.”
Reach for the Stars Foundation
Braithwaite is a modern day false prophet of Baal. He is the founder of the Reach for the Stars Foundation, a tax-exempt charitable foundation with the stated purpose to provide abstinence based sex education.
The Reach for the Stars website again features smiling teens and purports to be a compassionate, caring organization focused on “helping young people to reduce their sexual risk taking, but also create opportunities for youth and their families to learn about normal sexual development, explore values and sexual decision making and promote healthy, positive attitudes about sexuality.”
These are admirable goals. However, the reality is that Braithwaite’s end solution where his non-profit abstinence and contraception outreach fails, is child killing for profit.
The income of the tax-exempt organization, which was founded by three Braithwaite family officers – Sylvester, Carla and Justin – is customarily under $25,000 a year. Despite this, Reach for the Stars files the long 1090 form. Sylvester Braithwaite also disclosed that he received $6,705 in 2006 for “program services” from the organization. The donor list was not itemized.

About Sylvester Braithwaite
Dr. Sylvester Braithwaite is a Board Certified, Canadian trained Obstetrician Gynecologist with over 25 years experience in adolescent health care in Canada, West Indies, Europe and the US. He is also a professional speaker and author of the book Teen Spirit, which includes 55 strategies to help parents talk to their teens about sexuality.
He is on the Miami Dade School Board’s Speakers Bureau where he is involved in HIV/AIDS presentations and has served on the board of several community organization including, Miami Dade Alliance for Career Education, Alert Health formerly called Hep-C Alert, Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention and Parenting Council, the Women Emergency Network and the National Heritage Foundation.
Dr. Braithwaite’s mission is to provide accessible, available, and affordable medical care and to disseminate accurate research based information about both abstinence and contraception. His major objective is to prevent unintended pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases especially HIV/AIDS. Dr. Braithwaite’s basic message is “education now, babies later, STD’s HIV/AIDS never.”
