DEBUNKED: Zelenskyy 60 Minutes Interview

In a recent 60 Minutes Interview, the interviewer and and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made several dubious claims. In the “following video”: https://youtu.be/-cw3gulknl0 I debunk several points.

  1. The domino theory. Putin plans to conquer the whole of Europe.
  2. Putin is not the enemy. The enemy is the whole of the Russian people who support Putin.
  3. Russia bombs civilians and commits war crimes. Ukraine does not. Ukraine does not hit civilian targets in Russia with drones. If they do, they have a right to.
  4. If only the West had given Ukraine more weapons they would have defeated Russia. Now the whole world has to unite to defeat Russia to avoid (or cause?) WWIII.
  5. The war (and cocaine addiction?) has taken a toll on Zelensky.
  6. Russia (1.3 million troops) and Ukraine (500,000) have no professional army left.
  7. Putin will go on threatening nuclear war. (He’s never done so in any speech or statement.)
  8. The interviewer asks about Ukraine negotiating in exchange for land. (Zelensky had a law passed forbidding negotiations with Putin.)

The most outrageous statement was to say that neither Russia nor Ukraine have any professional troops left. This is just beyond irresponsible reporting.

The Russia Ukraine Conflict: Shifting Media Narratives

Looking at the struggle between the liberal west and the nations of Russia and China, it is easy to get swept up into the hype of the “good vs. evil” narrative. As Christians, we need to see God’s providence in all of it in advancing the kingdom. A big part of this will need to be clearing the legacy media’s smokescreens. How can we discern reality from false narratives?

My thesis is that the western liberal globalism will fail and civilization states will emerge in its place in a multipolar world within the next few years. It is happening more quickly than I first imagined. Just yesterday, lasting peace was achieved in the Middle East. This is something we haven’t seen in centuries. The liberals must applaud this while simultaneously and hypocritically condemning the “bad actors” we were at war with just a few days ago. But how can we resist? The US neocons and neoliberals can’t afford to wage war against the direction of the whole world.

Soon we will see a big shift in the Liberal narrative concerning the Ukraine conflict.

The Mistake of Liberalism

Symbol of the Fourth Political Theory

There are nearly as many definitions of Liberalism and Modernism as there are forms of propaganda in the wide world. As the Church uses these terms, however, they may be roughly defined as follows:

Liberalism: The belief that the human person is the ultimate source of freedom and goodness, and so must be emancipated not only from restrictive political and social systems but from the Church, religion and even God Himself. Thus liberalism is above all a spiritual rebellion that is almost inevitably combined with Modernism.

Modernism: The belief that human culture, as the lens through which reality is generally perceived, is actually determinative of truth, such that all convictions must be adapted to satisfy the values of contemporary culture. In practice, this will always be the dominant culture, that is, the fashionable culture of the elites who have the greatest power to form public opinion.

Perhaps the most obvious thing about the combination of these two terms is the following paradox: Once liberals begin to regard human emancipation in terms of Modernism, they necessarily embrace regulatory and even totalitarian political mechanisms to ensure that everyone is properly “liberated”. The State becomes the surrogate for God, but unlike God, the State does not respect human freedom. ~ Dr. Jeff Mirus, In a nutshell: Liberalism and Modernism

The mistake of Liberalism is the idea that we have individual rights. We do not. We have human rights based on God’s Creation ordinances (Genesis 1-3) and the positive affirmations of the Ten Commandments.

Commandments #1-3. The right to worship the one true God and revere His name as holy

Commandment #4. The right to rest on the Sabbath and freedom from perpetual bondage and slavery

Commandment #5. The right to bear and raise children to respect God and parents

Commandment #6. The right to life

Commandment #7. The right to be married to one spouse of the opposite sex and preserve the sanctity of marriage

Commandment #8. The right to get wealth and property, the right to work

Commandment #9. All rights pertaining to a fair trial when accused of sin (church) or a crime (civil).

Commandment #10. The right to work in the pursuit of property lawfully without being subject to guile or conspiracy (not just the pursuit of happiness, but the pursuit of property).

Thus all human rights are Law related. In turn, all biblical laws are based on one of the Creation ordinances — the first principles.

Why the US Does Not Want the Ukraine War to End

Why the US Does Not Want the Ukraine War to End is a fair treatment of the complex history of the Russia-Ukraine saga over the past 30 years. I recommend this video highly. I don’t agree with every point this YouTuber makes, but it is well-produced and more cogent and succinct than anything I have seen for its length. It is either a good primer or a refresher depending on your knowledge level of the Ukraine conflict. The thesis of the video is that this is a war the West wanted. NATO wanted a pro-western government in Ukraine, not to help Ukrainians, but to weaken and break up Russia. Therefore, the Western alliance does not want the war to end until this is accomplished. At the same time, the video does not whitewash the motivations and actions of Russia, but suggests that Putin’s actions are not those of a madman, but those of a reasonable president trying to protect Russia’s interests. The video rightly points out that America used our own military force to prevent Soviet influence near our borders many times in the past.

I have been to Russia and Ukraine 12 times since 1991. I learned about each of the Ukrainian presidential elections both through the news and firsthand conversations with Ukrainians. I was initially supportive of the Orange Revolution in 2004, which eventually brought Viktor Yushchenko to power. It seemed to be a people’s movement, but in truth both presidents on either side of that conflict, Yushchenko and Yanukovych, ended up being incredibly corrupt. I also followed the changes after 2014 to the current Euro-Maidan presidents, Poroshenko and Zelenskyy, and the beginning of the war in the Donbas regions. The common denominator is that each president promised to end corruption in Ukraine and better the economic situation. Each invariably ended up being at least as corrupt as his predecessor.

The Florida Personhood Act

The following is proposed legislation that Personhood Florida will be submitting to our state representatives, senators and governor. We hope to find sponsors for this bill among the many legislators who have endorsed Personhood. The language of the bill is short and to the point. We begin by addressing the necessity of state nullification of wrongly decided federal court cases, such as Roe v. Wade. More state legislators are warming to the idea of using the 9th and 10th Amendments of the U.S. Constitution to ignore or defy Roe. The rest of the bill is simple and says nothing beyond what can be drawn out of the language of our proposed Personhood Amendment. We will first ask those legislators who endorsed the Personhood Amendment to sponsor this bill. The Florida Personhood Act would supersede all previous inconsistent and contradictory provisions that would then need to be struck from the code of laws. We see sponsorship of this bill as a necessary first step to get legislators on board with Personhood language as part of our Florida statutes.

A bill to be entitled “The Florida Personhood Act” to amend the code of laws of the state of Florida

The God-given right to life of every human being at any stage of development shall be recognized and protected. This provision shall be deemed to supersede any other inconsistent provisions.

The Economist: Russia's economy in recovery, West's about to collapse

While Europe teeters on the brink of recession, Russia is emerging from one. Real-time data shows a subdued but strengthening economy (“As Europe falls into recession, Russia climbs out,” The Economist, 10/16/2022).

The Economist is about as anti-Russian and neocon of a publication as there is. A few months ago, they were saying that the Russian economy was being bolstered by their increased energy income, but was still in a precarious state. A few months before that, they were saying that the Russian economic recovery numbers were smoke and mirrors. Now they’re saying in essence, “We have to admit Russia’s recovery is for real, while Europe is headed for a collapse.”

How did this happen?

Largest Missile Attacks in Ukraine Yet - Eyewitness Account

A detailed map of the hit objects and brief description. Just turn on the translation. CHPP – stands for Coal Heated Power Plant — Aftershock News.

This is the eyewitness assessment from a life-long Kiev, Ukraine resident who asked to remain anonymous. In recent years, it has become common place for any person can be harassed or even killed for expressing divergent opinions with no resulting punishment.

KIEV, Ukraine (Forerunner) – There is no comparison between what happened at the beginning of the conflict in February and the missile attacks yesterday. In February, we had few missile attacks in Kiev and other cities. The main targets were military objects or objects used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The rest were explosions by intercepted Russian Armed Forces missiles or misguided Ukrainian air-defense missiles.

In contrast, yesterday and today’s [10/10/22 and 10/11/22] attacks were more devastating. Cruise missiles hit power plants, high voltage power lines, communication hubs, military and intelligence buildings. That was not common until now. Even when Russian Armed Forces troops were just miles from Kiev earlier this year, electric networks, internet, etc., were working. Unlike then, now we see mass electricity shutdowns in major cities (metro, tramways not working, elevators in residential buildings are off for safety reasons, no cold and/or hot water, etc.). It looks like the Russian Armed Forces started “US army style” conventional strikes.

The Emerging Multipolar World – Rebuilding Christian Civilization

An earth shaking shift in the world’s regional powers is coming. How do I know? Because history shows this happens all the time. And coming with it is an incredible opportunity to watch Christ’s kingdom forcefully advance in the nations.

The Russia-Ukraine crisis from the outset was sparked by American and western European meddling in Ukraine’s corrupt government and national corporations. But that is is just the tip of the iceberg. It is just a reflection of a larger global war. It is an economic and political war. It is happening right now and the West has already lost.

The goal of western globalists ever since Kiev’s Orange Revolution of 2008 was as follows.

  1. Goad Russia into a conflict with Ukraine;
  2. Impose economic sanctions;
  3. Ultimately break-up Russia into smaller countries by weakening it economically;
  4. Install western leaning puppet governments;
  5. Break off the control of Moscow over the resource rich Ural and Siberian regions;
  6. Sell of its vast resources to western companies.

But Russia wasn’t having any of that. They began years ago in collaboration with China, India, Iran and other allies for the day when a set piece battle would come. Now it has arrived and soon the western globalists will be consigned to the ash heap of history.

Russia-Ukraine Crisis: The Media Wars

In a previous article, Media Lies on Russia-Ukraine, I gave a list of resources that uncover the legacy media lies. Since that time I have discovered a few more YouTube channels hosted by some full-time independent journalists that seek to critique the legacy media narrative. Please note that I do not endorse the views of every one of these sources.

I highly recommend this Global Tree Pictures documentary series. Each one of the three films is a must see. The first two are by award-winning director Oliver Stone. Although I find Stone to be a controversial conspiracy theorist and don’t agree with him much politically, most of what is presented are well-documented facts. The narration does a good job at connecting the dots that inevitably led to the current crisis. In fact, I would call the series prophetic. Although not without bias, the presenters allow viewers to draw their own conclusions. The production and visual quality of these documentary films are unsurpassed. Each one is watchable and intriguing. The age restriction is due to the images and video made during the violent Euro-Maidan coup.

Social Justice - Is it biblical?

SJW's Always Lie by Vox Day is an excellent and irreverent treatment of how to defeat all types of postmodernist activism.

SJWs — Social Justice Warriors — are essentially cultural Marxists masquerading as advocates for the oppressed. They would use the arm of the state to achieve their goals.

A pastor friend of mine recently harped on how he thinks that people in the Church who preach “dominion” are dangerous. They are the “deep state” in the Church. I had to explain that there are true forms and counterfeits in all expressions of Christianity.

Christian Reconstruction in its true form teaches regeneration of the individual first and then the leavening of society through Christian families, churches, and then the civil sphere fourth. So it is all voluntary each step of the way. Obviously, we believe that man’s laws ought not conflict with God’s laws. We avoid the extreme of anarchy recognizing that someone has got to rule inevitably. And you will either have God’s law or man’s law as our civil code. But that’s not to say that the law can be enforced from the top down to create a Christian society.

So what does this have to do with “Social Justice Warriors”?
