On the website of A Woman’s World, they proudly announces abortions through the second trimester, prescriptions of RU-486, and lists prices with downloadable forms customers can fill out at home. But it doesn’t proudly mention the abortionist they hire to kill unborn children, or the long history of abortionists (some since arrested and with medical licenses revoked) that they have used in the past.
Owner
Owned and created by Candace M. Guerrero, of Port St. Lucie (Address: 2264 SW Halissee St., Port St. Lucie, FL 34953) in 1995, A Woman’s World has been under constant pressure to close its doors. With a long history of botched abortions, the use of unscrupulous medical practices, state investigations, and the most brutal of abortionists, it is surprising that the clinic is still open.
Mrs. Guerrero, who often still uses her maiden name and other aliases on official records (see below), born 10/15/1956, was married to Arnold Guerrero 12/31/1996.
Aliases: Candace M. Dye, Candance L. Dye, Candace L. Dye, Candace Levenette Dye, Candace M. Guerrero
History
1993: 76 prolife activists are arrested and charged with trespassing on April 9 as they sought to intervene on behalf of unborn children.
1999: The clinic was the subject of a federal lawsuit, Lotierzo v. Woman World Medical Center Inc that, although overturned by the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, alleged physical harassment of sidewalk counselors and “altercations” with crisis pregnancy center workers by employees of A Woman’s World Medical Center, allegedly at the direction and encouragement of owner Mrs. Guerrero.
July 2010: Mrs. Guerrero (under maiden name of Candace Dye) owes two years property taxes to St. Lucie County for A Woman’s World ($9,201.36) although she had no trouble paying the property taxes on her home in a timely manner.
August 2010: The clinic and Pregnancy Care Center (the crisis pregnancy center across the street) were the subject of an HBO Documentary entitled 12th and Delaware.
